Flip flops
Flip flops are the perfect summer footwear. They consist of a flat sole and a bridge at the top and are most often made of rubber, making them lightweight, waterproof and easy to carry in a beach or gym bag as a changeable option.
Although women’s beach flip-flops are most often minimalistic, some versions can also be made of leather or with wooden soles and even decorated with stones, pearls, rhinestones to give the image additional shine.

If we talk about the types of flip-flops, depending on the design of the jumpers, two main categories are distinguished:
Flip Flops – with a Y-shaped strap at the top that attaches to the sole between the thumb and forefinger and on the sides. The model has been known since ancient Egypt, where they were made from papyrus and palm leaves.
Slides involve one or more crossbars crossing the foot to hold the shoe on the foot. Their name is explained by the fact that the shoes “slide” easily on the leg. Slides appeared as far back as ancient Rome, but they gained popularity only in the late 1960s.
Jelly Shoes
“Jelly shoes” are named after the material from which they are made: PVC rubber – a translucent material similar to jelly. Due to its affordability, these shoes became a fashion trend in the early 1980s. Despite their name, they used to be quite stiff and could be uncomfortable when worn for a long time.
Since then, transparent shoes have come a long way and became not only more comfortable, but also now presented in different colors and even with sequins. A range of styles are also available in this material, such as sandals, ballet flats, heels and wedges. Thanks to a wide selection of styles, transparent shoes are very versatile and are perfect for any casual ensemble.
